Fall is right around the corner, and I’ve found myself drawn to the kitchen more and more. Baking yummy treats is one of my favorite things to do once the weather cools off.

My family loves this Orange Chocolate Chip Bread, which features our favorite Tampico Citrus Punch for an extra punch of flavor.

Orange Chocolate Chip Bread

Here’s what you need to make Orange Chocolate Chip Bread:

  • 2/3 cup Tampico Citrus Punch
  • 1/3 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

Mix the Tampico Citrus Punch with the boiling water and allow to sit for 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

In a small bowl, beat together the egg, butter and vanilla extract. Add the Tampico mixture.

Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just moist. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and add to the loaf pan.

Bake for 55-65 minutes until bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow to stand for 10 minutes to cool. Slice to serve.

It’s especially yummy served with a tall glass of Tampico!
